It’s time to weave them togther

Babysmile Forgive and forget! The past is way over and brooding upon it, would only inflict negative thoughts on your present and probably a re-enactment of the same blunder on your venerable future(For those who read my boiling rate is 100degree Celsius, entry: you would know what I am talking about), why do I state it as venerable, yes….each and everyone of us, can never break away from the point of venerability in Life, Be it if you are a strong willed person or plain lame loser….we entangle ourselves in situation or problems, coming out feeling depressed lost and worst of it all, angry! Anger, just another way we feel. It’s perfectly OK to be angry at times - in fact, it’s important to get angry sometimes. But anger must be released in the right way. Otherwise you’ll be like a pot of boiling water with the lid left on (that’s what exactly happened). If the steam doesn’t escape, the water will finally boil over and blow its top! When that happens to me, it’s no fun for anyone. I realized how powerful of an emotion, Anger can be…Some characteristic sharing of the MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER: yeaps…have seen Anniyan: heheheheh. I have a tendency to lose control of myself (The being nice Miss Anishar turns into a statement of “Oh my god…Is that you or are you possessed?) My anger sends signals to every part of my body, to either Fight or Flee, as the signal are mostly collected in my heart; I tend to do the latter, which is to flee, and be in isolation, away from everyone and everything, but there are some people who help me a lot by validating my anger emotion. Can’t blame them? Can I? I came across this statement recently and it helped me a lot in controlling my anger

Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom. - Victor Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning

True enough, if you realize the depth of the statement above. Above all, ISLAM is all about peace and forgiveness. The first attribute of God/Allah that we Muslims are reminded (of) is Ar Rahman-Ar Rahim that is, Kind and Merciful. God Himself said, my mercy overtakes my wrath, and He told in one of the hadith qudsi , ‘O son of Adam, when you get angry, remember Me." Thus, remembrance of God and meditation will keep us on the right track. One of the meditation words is ya Halim, which is one of the attributes of God, being the Mild One. One can also pray to God to take control of the situation and the person or the people who have caused His anger. We must also think that tone life so dear to us, is a temporary life, and we must not forget our death and destroy the life of eternity at the cost of this life. At the end of the day I thought to myself: become a calm person ,makes peace with myself, my Creator and my surroundings. Anger is a costly weed; it can costs one his health, life in this world, and the life in the Hereafter, I don’t need all this unhappiness, Just smile, enjoy the bright sunlight. LIFE is always worth living for and as a Muslim I truly believe that all our suffering, failures and adversities are nothing but a test from God, who has said that "You will not enter

Paradise

until you are tested.” He has also said, "Be sure we will test you with something of fear and hunger, a small loss in wealth and lives and the fruits (of your labors), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, when afflicted with calamities, to God we belong and to Him shall we return."’ (Chapter 2:15, 5-157).

      Junaidah says:

Masha Allah…this is such a well thought and deeply reflected-upon entry….yes…its true that anger sometimes engulfs us…and makes us lose ourselves…if we could only freeze time(almost sounds like the song ‘if only i could turn back time’)….step out from ourselves and look at how we look like when anger overtakes us….not very good i guess…who is spared of the tests from the Almighty…. no one…lets strive and struggle to overcome these tests…..it is indeed encouraging to read the words of Allah s.w.t….syukran for reminding me of Allah…May Allah bless you and May Rasul s.a.w barakah be upon you…..
